The FHS Well-Being Collaborative is a dedicated group of leaders and individuals representing diverse backgrounds and roles across the Faculty, McMaster University, affiliated hospitals and the community. Committed to fostering a culture of well-being and professional fulfillment, the collaborative works to develop and implement strategies, initiatives and resources that address the holistic needs of faculty, staff and learners. Through consultation, collaboration and resource development, the group aims to raise awareness, provide guidance and facilitate positive change within FHS and beyond, recognizing the interconnectedness of well-being with broader organizational goals and initiatives.
The CoP for Faculty Well-Being Leads is a crucial initiative aimed at enhancing faculty well-being and professional fulfillment organization-wide. Through collaborative engagement and capacity-building, the CoP provides a coordinated approach to address well-being challenges within departments, schools or programs, fostering system-level culture transformation and empowering individuals to make a positive impact at their local level.
